Back in 1994, LifeLink was beginning its initial equipment development
phases. During this time period, wireless computer technology was beginning
its infancy as well.  This new wireless technology, which is based on
the use of radio frequency (RF) in the 300-310MhZ ISM band
(Industrial, Scientific, and Medical), was quickly and successfully integrated
into the medical alert product. With the exception of a few minor changes
as more efficient electronic components became available, due to
strong engineering and design, LifeLink equipment has been virtually
unchanged over the years since its inception.
