LIFELINK SYSTEMS (For Use With All Phone Services including Digital/VOIP)
This model will have a sticker on the bottom of the unit that states "VOIP Ready". The sticker indicates that a special VOIP enhancemefnt chip has been built into the system that will facilitate compatibility with VOIP services, though there is no way to guarantee compatibility until you try it with your particular VOIP phone service. At the present time, this model has been found to be compatible with approximately 90% of digital/VOIP installations. For more information, please review the VOIP information within our FAQ page and/or our Return Policy page. Popular VOIP services include Comcast, Cox, Verizon FIOS, MagicJack, ATT Uverse, Ooma, and Brighthouse, among many others. It is important to note that LifeLink is NOT compatible with Time Warner or Cablevision phone services.

ECONO-PACK OF SPARE PENDANTSSome of our customers have told us that they would like to affordably purchase multiple pendants and place them on the floor of each room. They've told us that, by doing this, in the event of an emergency in which they had unfortunately forgotten to wear their pendant, they would still be able to crawl to the nearest pendant and press the emergency button. Please note that chain is not included. We've answered that request with our Econo-Pack of Spare Pendants.

Select this model LifeLink if it will be used with a traditional phone service. Traditional phone service refers to the plain old telephone service that has been in existence for over 50 years, pioneered by Bell Telephone and AT&T. If your phone, television, and Internet (or any combination) come bundled from the same company, this is considered "non-traditional phone service", and is better-known as digital or VOIP phone service. If you have (or plan to have) a digital/VOIP phone service, select the next item on this page titled "LifeLink Systems - For Use With All Phone Services Including Digital/VOIP".
Select this model LifeLink if you have either traditional (described above) OR non-traditional phone service (digital/VOIP phone service). It will work with either service. You will know that your phone service is non-traditional, because it will also be provided by your cable television and/or Internet provider. 
Our pendants are about the size of a matchbook cover and weigh 2-3 ounces. Purchasing at least one spare pendant is highly advisable. This is recommended because feedback has shown that pendants are sometimes lost, misplaced for a while, etc. Having spare pendants ensures no interruption in service. A spare can also be used for other family members. Up to 8 pendants can be used with a single Console. Please note that chain is not included.

SUPER-BOOST SIREN
This option will significantly boost the volume of the siren on your LifeLink. We are in the process of gauging the interest in this "SuperBoost Siren" . The standard LifeLink system has a 65 decibel siren, which is loud enough for approximately 95% of our client base. However, some individuals – primarily those who have significantly-reduced hearing – may need or want additional volume for the siren. The SuperBoost Siren is nearly twice the volume of the standard siren; it is essentially equivalent to that of a smoke alarm. At 85 decibels, the siren is sure to be heard. Note that the decibel scale is logarithmic and not linear.
IMPORTANT: Due to the volume level of the SuperBoost, it is not recommended for use in multiple family dwellings such as apartments or assisted living centers. It is also not recommended for use by individuals with adequate hearing levels that are commensurate with their age. Note that, because this option is in beta mode, the pricing shown is in line with the retro-fit that will be used to achieve the SuperBoost service level.
